Our story began with a commitment to making Vietnam’s agricultural exports, particularly dragon fruit, more valuable on the world stage. That dedication has defined Hai Thuan Group’s journey to becoming a notable exporter.
Life-long Bond with Dragon Fruits
While the fruit was introduced to Vietnam in the early 20th century, it wasn’t until the 1980s that cultivation was widely encouraged to meet a growing global market. The arid, sandy conditions of Binh Thuan — which are unsuitable for many other crops — proved to be the perfect environment for dragon fruit. Today, Binh Thuan is not only the main supplier of dragon fruit for the global market but is also proudly known as the ‘Capital of Dragon Fruit.’
As a daughter of Binh Thuan, our founder, Ms. Ngoc Hoan, shares a lifelong bond with dragon fruit. Her career began as a purchasing agent for other exporters, and as she traveled back and forth among the farms every day, her love for the land, the fruit, and the growers deepened. This deep passion ultimately became her purpose: to unlock the true value of Binh Thuan’s dragon fruit on the global market.
To turn this vision into a reality, Ms. Ngoc Hoan founded Hai Thuan Group (formerly known as Hai Thuan Agricultural Products Ltd.) in 2016. Right from the start, we’ve focused on maximizing the value of our local fruit by actively seeking out strong export contracts. We work hand-in-hand with our growers, providing them with the expertise and support needed to secure essential certifications. By building a strong and reliable link between the market and our farmers, Hai Thuan Group has quickly established itself among dragon fruit notable exporters.
Nowadays, Ms. Ngoc Hoan’s commitment to dragon fruit has led her to take further steps beyond exporting. Driven by a desire to innovate, she launched her own cosmetic brand, using dragon fruit extract as a key ingredient to create even greater value from the fruit she loves.
Business Development
Hai Thuan Group was founded on deep industry knowledge and strong bonds with growers and customers. These principles guided our early days, allowing us to quickly build trust and secure our place as a prominent exporter. These same values have been and will always be the cornerstone of our rapid and strategic growth.
We began with dragon fruit as our primary export, but have since diversified our portfolio to include other premium Vietnamese fruits, with a special focus on durian. Having established a strong foothold in the Chinese market, we are now actively expanding our reach into the Middle East, with an ambitious goal of entering the demanding European Union market.
In 2025, we decided to restructure our operations to better support our growth. We merged our office and production facilities into a single, enhanced premises, which has significantly improved administrative efficiency and logistical capacity. Concurrently, we are expanding our market reach through e-commerce, establishing our own website and a presence on global platforms like Alibaba.
